Snacks For Trick Or Treat

Fall is in the air and around the house and here we are on the cusp of Halloween. Personally, Halloween is not my favorite holiday. I don’t appreciate being scared and my kids are always trying to jump and out surprise me.

Sugar does not do anything but antagonize already hyper personalities around here so I never keep much candy in our house. Our neighborhood is also not well known for passing out candy and my kids are older now, so they refuse to let me dress the up in adorable costumes.

Hubby the fireman is almost always working too, so every year we go to a friends and I offer to bring the snacks. The kids can pass out candy to trick or treaters and we just spend a nice, scream free night together.

This year both kids are trying to do better about what they are eating due to their strenuous sports schedule.
